The Parent Toolkit is an initiative started by TCFEF and funded by grants and donors (list) to put important resources and organizational tools in the hands of parents and caregivers of students with disabilities across the state of Arkansas! The FREE toolkit includes a 3 ring binder, page dividers, labels, IEP/504 information, and more! Staying organized is one of the keys to an effective IEP or 504 meeting. Wynne Public Schools’ Working for Independence Now(WIN) Program and Harrisburg Public Schools’ Work-based-learning Opportunities Leading to Future Employment(WOLF) Program. TCFEF provides materials to these programs and students earn a wage per hour to collate the binders! Click on the mascots to learn more about each school!
Summit Community Care is also investing in the toolkit project so they can provide these binders to their families who participate in the Summit Medicaid PASSE program! The PASSE Program is available to kids and adults with disabilities or behavioral health needs who have Medicaid and qualify for this program.
AG for Autism has been a generous donor for numerous TCFEF projects, including The Parent Toolkit project! AG for Autism is allegiance of agriculture businesses dedicated to helping local children with Autism and their families.
